Big Bluff Trail Hiking Trail, Jasper, Arkansas - Hiking Project A lot of parking at trailhead and it was muddy when I went but over all was good (12/18/2022). From the parking lot to Big Bluff, the trail travels mostly downhill, so it's important to conserve energy, drinking water, and snacks for the uphill hike back to your car. Well worth it, but don't underestimate the hike out. If that parking lot fills up, there is another parking lot across the road that seems to be privately owned and they charge a fee to park there.We started our hike at sunrise on a Monday and were the first car in the parking lot.
